From Via del Corso, tourists can go to the Fontana di Trevi. The Fontana di Trevi is the largest fountain in Rome with a famous mythos behind its beauty. This Rome fountain is most crowded because everyone spent their afternoon at here, relax with gurgling water and clinking coins.

In 1629 Pope Urban VIII, finding the earlier fountain insufficiently dramatic, asked Gian Lorenzo Bernini to sketch possible renovations, but when the Pope died, the project was abandoned. Bernini’s lasting contribution was to re-site the fountain from the other side of the square to face the Quirinal Palace (so the Pope could look down and enjoy it). Though Bernini’s project was torn down for Salvi’s fountain, there are many Bernini touches in the fountain as it was built.

The Trevi Fountain was finished in 1762 by Giuseppe Pannini, who substituted the present allegories for planned sculptures of Agrippa and “Trivia”, the Roman virgin.

Throw a coin into the Trevi Fountain with a back position, make a wish in your heart and get your lucky.

Via del Corso (the ancient via Lata), commonly known as the Corso, is the main street running through the historical centre of Rome, Italy. It is remarkable for being absolutely straight in an area characterized by narrow meandering alleys and small piazzas.

Via del Corso is also wider than most streets in the centre of Rome, but still only has barely room for two lanes of traffic and two narrow sidewalks. The northern portion of Via del Corso is a pedestrian area. The length of Via del Corso is roughly 1.5 kilometers.

The Corso runs in a roughly north-south direction. In the north of Via del Corso ends at Piazza del Popolo between Santa Maria dei Miracoli and Santa Maria in Montesanto. The southern terminus is at Piazza Venezia.

There are no major tourist attractions along Via del Corso itself, but the nearby area has them in abundance.
The Pantheon is the biggest Roman achievement in architecture. The Pantheon is a temple of worship the gods believed by Roman. There is no god that specifically described, the Pantheon temple is dedicated to all the gods.

The Pantheon was originally built in the year 27 BC – 25 BC by Marcus Agrippa Vipsanius, which is clearly written on the Portico (porch pole), which Agrippa • M • L • F • COS • TERTIUM • FECIT, “Marcus Agrippa, son of Lucius, Consul for the third time, built this building “. Patheon was initially created with the baths and gardens. But these early buildings have been destroyed in the year 80 AD, and then rebuilt.

Oculus

Oculus hole is the climax for tourists who come to the Pantheon. This hole is made to describe the closeness with the light of heaven. Path of the sun across the hole is made lighting oculus in the Pantheon was because of the reflected light to the walls and floor. Forms an almost perfect round on the inside dome seemed never seen anywhere in the world before. Like an effect that had not changed as the relationship of the gods, nature, people, and the situation.

Pantheon inspired many buildings making today, as a depiction of a building which is the highest achievement of religious and political ambitions. Patheon replicated in Andrea Palladio’s buildings, the Rotunda Villa in Italy, and the Durban Hall in India.

The building was also once used a tomb for many famous people, such as the famous painter, Raphael and Annibale Caracci, the architect Baldassare Peruzzi and two kings of Italy, namely: Vittorio Emanuele II and Umberto I, and the queen of Umberto I, Margherita.

In the end, this temple was transformed into a church function, since the modified function by Pope Boniface IV in 609 AD, and is no longer known as the Pantheon, but with a new name, Roman Catholic Church Sta. Maria Rotonda, which is still in use.

Like going to church, the rules for tourists to keep calm and prohibition to use the flash to be obeyed. Solemn atmosphere was immediate, especially because in the Pantheon of modern there are no lights, only candles and the sun sometimes through the dome. It’s beautiful! At the Pantheon Square, there are many restaurants that can be the alternative for tourists to have lunch.

The Colosseum or the Flavian Amphitheater is an old stadium in Rome that the past is used to demonstrate the power of Gladiator against wild beasts.

The Colosseum is a relic of a large theater / Amphitheater which is one of the “Seven Medieval Wonders of the World.” The Roman Coloseum located in the State Capital of Italy, Rome, founded by King Vespasian and completed by his son Titus.

Any opinions about when the year of Colosseum builded. Some say that the Colosseum was built in the year 79 BC, there is also the opinion that was built between the years of 70-82 AD. But most archaeologists believe that the Colosseum was built in the year of 70-82 AD. Origin of the Colosseum’s name comes from a 130 foot tall statue which called Colossus. The Colosseum is set to accommodate 50,000 spectators.

In the middle of the arena of Colosseum, you can found the labyrinth. In the past, the labyrinth is place to see the fighting shows. Until now, the labyrinth is still maintained like its original form. Similarly like the beast cages.

Do not forget to enjoy the panorama of Rome from the upper floor and buy Colosseum souvenirs at the exit. An official souvenir shop is also available in the Colosseum, but certainly more expensive. Voli Roma
